World Cancer Day: The Many Languages of Cure

Cancer can affect anyone, anywhere. World Cancer Day is both a celebration of the progress we've made so far, and a call to do more to reduce cancer-related deaths worldwide.

Since 1953, Cancer Research Institute (CRI) has funneled $282 million in breakthrough research across many different types of cancers, around the world in search for treatments that save lives—and potentially cure cancer. We have funded 3,000 scientists and have laid the groundwork for immunotherapy treatments in laboratories and clinics across Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, Russia, Sweden, United States, and many more countries.

So we wanted to say something simple that articulates the global span of working toward a cure. From Bengali to Ukrainian, our scientists, from all around the world, shared what we all hope to see: an end to all cancers within our lifetimes.
