Donor-Advised Funds

Many Cancer Research Institute (CRI) donors choose to give through donor-advised funds (DAFs).

Donor-advised funds allow individuals or organizations to create a special account to manage their charitable donations. Philanthropists like you open an account and make tax-deductible contributions to a DAF. You then recommend grants from the DAF to the charities of your choice. The DAF sponsor, generally a nonprofit financial institution, handles all the administrative details, and you can remain completely anonymous if you wish.

Once your DAF approves your recommendation, it will make a grant to the Cancer Research Institute via check or wire transfer. Please note that CRI cannot provide you with a receipt for tax purposes. Your DAF issues a tax receipt with your deposit.

If you have an account with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Greater Kansas City CF or BNY Mellon, use the widget below to process your gift recommendation with the secure DAFDirect link. To make a donation from other DAFs, please speak to the sponsoring organization of your Fund. Thank you for your recommendation!
